1 Mix components thoroughly. Distribute the medium in culture vessels (e.g., 9.0 ml in Balch tubes), replace the gas phase with CO2, seal with butyl rubber stoppers, and autoclave. After cooling, aseptically and anaerobically add per 900 ml the following solution (autoclaved under a N2 atmosphere):
