# 1279: HELICOBACTER MEDIUM


## Main sol. 1279

2.8	g	Brucella Broth (Becton Dickinson)	
80	ml	Demineralized water	

1. Add aseptically to each tube: 

2	ml	Fetal bovine serum (heat inactivated)	
0.06	ml	Vitox (Oxoid)	
0.02	ml	Skirrow supplement (Oxoid)	
0.02	ml	Amphotericin (10 mg/ml)	

2. Adjust with HCl to pH 5.0, make anoxic under a stream of N2/CO2, distribute in Hungate tubes to 8 ml and autoclave.
3. Add 1 ml of sterile air to each tube.
