# 1430: GLUCONACETOBACTER MEDIUM


## Main sol. 1430

3	g	Yeast extract	
4	g	Peptone	
5	g	Glucose	
30	ml	Acetic acid	
30	ml	Ethanol	
940	ml	Distilled water	
15	g	Agar, for solid medium	

1. The ethanol and acetic acid are sterilized separately by filtration (use filters resistant to these solvents) and added aseptically to the sterile medium. The medium may be solidified by adding 15.0 g/l agar.
