# 1522: ACETOBACTER LAMBICUS MEDIUM


## Main sol. 1522

8	g	Yeast extract	
15	g	Peptone	
10	g	Glucose	
3	ml	Acetic acid	
5	ml	Ethanol	
992	ml	Distilled water	

1. The ethanol and acetic acid are sterilized separately by filtration (use filter resistant to these solvents), and added aseptically to the sterile medium.
2. Adjust pH to 3,5 with concentrated HCl after autoclaving.
