1	g	Yeast extract	
15	g	Agar, alternative	
0.5	%	Cellobiose (filter-sterilized), alternative	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. Adjust pH to 7.2.
2. To medium add 0.5% cellobiose (filter-sterilized) or distribute medium (without agar) in 5 ml amounts in test tubes, add a strip of filter paper (7 cm long) to each and autoclave, or place sterile pieces of filter paper on the surface of agarized medium.
