# 1c: Nutrient bromothymol blue agar NBTA


## Main sol. 1c

5	g	Peptone	
3	g	Meat extract	
15	g	Agar, for solid medium	
1000	ml	Distilled water	
25	mg	Bromothymol blue	
4	ml	**2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride stock solution**	

1. Autoclave at 121 °C for 21 min.
2. After autoclavation add 4 mL from a sterile 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride stock solution (1% w/v).
