# 627: SEAWATER LEMCO


## Main sol. 627

10	g	Beef extract	
10	g	Peptone	
750	ml	Sea water (filtered and aged )	
250	ml	Distilled water	
15	g/l	Agar, for solid medium	

1. Dissolve ingredients, by heating if necessary. Adjust pH to 7.8, boil 3-5 min, filter. Readjust pH to 7.3. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 min at 121°C.
2. For solid medium add 15.0 g agar after readjusting pH and steam to dissolve the agar prior to autoclaving.
