0.5	g	MgSO4 x 7 H2O	
0.4	g	(NH4)2SO4	
0.2	g	K2HPO4	
0.1	g	KCl	
0.01	g	FeSO4 x 7 H2O	
0.25	g	Yeast extract	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. Dissolve ingredients except yeast extract and adjust pH to 2.0 with H2SO4. After autoclaving add yeast extract from a sterile stock solution.
2. Note: For autotrophic growth omit yeast extract and add to the medium 13.90 g/l FeSO4 x 7 H2O. Adjust medium pH to 1.7 with H2SO4 prior to autoclaving.
