21	g	Mueller-Hinton broth	
5	g	Yeast extract	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. For Haemophilus spp., add 15 mg NAD and 15 mg hemine per L (X + V factors).
2. NAD stock solution: dissolve 1 mg NAD per ml dist. water, filter sterilize.
3. Hemine stock solution: dissolve 50 mg hemine in 1 ml 1 M NaOH, make up to 25 ml with dist. water, filter sterilize.
