# 869: ANAEROBIC TRYPTIC SOY BROTH MEDIUM

5.5	g	Trypticase soy broth (BD BBL)	
0.5	ml	Resazurin (0.1% w/v)	
2	g	D-Glucose	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. Dissolve dehydrated TSB medium and resazurin, bring to the boil and cool to room temperature while sparging with 100% N2 gas. Adjust pH to 5.5, dispense under same gas atmosphere into anoxic Hungate-type tubes or serum vials and autoclave. Add glucose from a separately sterilized anoxic stock solution.
