# J1105: VIRGIBACILLUS MERV MEDIUM


## Main sol. J1105

10	g	Yeast extract	
3	g	Trisodium citrate x 3 H2O	
1	g	MgSO4 x 7 H2O	
3	g	KCl	
100	g	NaCl	

1. Add components to distilled water and bring volume to 1.0 L. For preparation of solid medium, add 20.0 g/L agar. After autoclaving, add the following solution (autoclaved): 

10	ml	Na2CO3 (10%)	

2. Readjust pH to 8.0, if necessary.
