5	g	**Yeast cell paste**	
0.5	mg	Vitamin B12	
15	g	Agar	
1000	ml	Sea water (artificial)	

1. Adjust pH to 7.5. Autoclave at 120C for 20 min. Separately sterilize vitamin B12 by filtration, and aseptically add to the medium.


## Yeast cell paste

1. Wash dried yeast (e.g., Yeast from <I>Saccharomyces cerevisiae</I> Type II, Sigma) with distilled water three times.
