0.5	g	MgSO4 x 7 H2O	
0.4	g	(NH4)2SO4	
0.2	g	K2HPO4	
0.1	g	KCl	
10	mg	FeSO4 x 7 H2O	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. Adjust pH to 2.0 with H2SO4. After autoclaving, add the following solution (autoclaved): 

2.5	ml	Yeast extract (10%, BD-Difco)	

2. Comment: For autotrophic growth on ferrous sulfate, prepare the medium without yeast extract, add 13.9 g/L (final) FeSO4 x 7H2O and adjust pH to 1.7 with H2SO4.
