55	g	Lactobacilli MRS broth (BD-Difco)	
900	ml	**Rye-bran extract**	
100	ml	Distilled water	


## Rye-bran extract

40	g	Rye-bran	
2	g	Malted wheat meal	
0.8	g	Trypsin (Sigma-Aldrich)	
1000	ml	Distilled water	

1. Mix components and incubate at 50C for 24 hr. Clarify the resulting turbid liquid by centrifugation (500 x g, 15 min) followed by paper-filtration.
