## Solution A

1	g	Sodium acetate	
1	g	Sodium lactate	
1	g	Yeast extract	
1	g	Trypticase peptone (BD-BBL)	
1	ml	**FeCl2 solution**	
1	ml	**Trace element solution**	
3	�g	Na2SeO3 x 5 H2O	
1	mg	Resazurin	
900	ml	Distilled water	

1. Mix components thoroughly and adjust pH to 7.0. Autoclave under a N2 atmosphere.


## Solution B

20	g	MgCl2 x 6 H2O	
2.7	g	CaCl2 x 2 H2O	
100	ml	Distilled water	

1. To complete the medium, combine Solutions A and B under a N2 atmosphere. Then, add per liter the following solution from an anaerobic stock: 

10	ml	Na2S x 9 H2O (3%)	

2. Autoclave under a N2 atmosphere.


## FeCl2 solution

10	ml	HCl (7.7 M, 25%)

## Trace element solution

70	mg	ZnCl2	
100	mg	MnCl2 x 4 H2O
