1 Solution g/liter (final solution) 4.7 g/l. Final pH at 25°C 6.6 ± 0.2.
2 To prepare one liter of final medium, suspend the amount of dehydrated powder indicated under FORMULAE-Solution (and on the package label) in 900 ml distilled and deionized water containing 2 ml glycerol and heat to boiling to dissolve completely. Sterilize in the autoclave for 10 or 15 min at 15 Ibs pressure (121°C), per label copy. Cool to 50-55°C.
3 Aseptically add 100 ml of the appropriate ADC Enrichment and mix throughly.
